What happened in Mississauga in August 2025

Mississauga recorded 426 sales in August 2025, 8.6% fewer than the same month a year earlier. Sellers brought 1,328 new listings to market, leaving 2,568 properties in inventory — 27.4% more than a year ago. At the month's pace of sales that is 4.8 months of supply, which puts Mississauga in a buyer's market. 33% of the month's new listings sold.

The average sale price across all property types was $968,250, down 7.3% year over year and down 2.7% on the month. Detached homes averaged $1,362,799 against $549,936 for condo apartments — the gap that decides which side of the $1.5 million insured-financing cap a purchase here falls on.

What this means if you're buying in Mississauga
